Do you remember being overwhelmed as a kid and your mom telling you to take a deep breath?

Most of us learned this early.

When things felt overwhelming, someone we trusted told us to take a deep breath.
Not to solve everything.
Just to steady ourselves enough to keep going.

Somewhere along the way, we forgot that.

dorothy exists to bring us back.
Back to the breath.
Back to ourselves.
Back home.

  • Dorothy is a modern breathwork practice and emotional health movement.

We use breathwork to help people regulate their nervous systems, process emotion, and reconnect with themselves, but the real work is cultural. We’re here to make crying cool, feeling honest, and asking for support normal.

We don’t believe people need fixing. We believe they need space, tools that actually work, and community that doesn’t flinch when things get real.

Dorothy exists to help people feel safe enough to be human and supported enough to keep going.

  • Dorothy meets people where they are.

Through breathwork, guided practices, and shared language, we help you:

    • Regulate your nervous system

    • Build capacity under stress

    • Choose presence over avoidance

    • Take the next step, without forcing the whole path

    This isn’t about escaping life.
It’s about learning how to stay with it.

  • Dorothy is for people who are capable, thoughtful, and tired of pushing through.

    Athletes.
    Leaders.
    Parents.
    High-performers.
    Humans carrying a lot.

People who don’t want fluff, but do want depth.
People who are ready to slow down just enough to move forward differently.

  • "My first Breathwork was an experience I will never forget. I experienced so viscerally the connection between my emotions and my body, and felt overwhelming gratefulness to be given a space to process and witness them. Breath work can be intimidating and scary. Noticing and experiencing my resistance to embrace my full self (the internalized shame, guilt, grief and pain) gave me the space to relate, accept and process these emotions with self-compassion and love. "

  • "Signing up for a Breathwork class was one of the best decisions I've made for my well being this year."

    —Mike B

  • "Mind-blowing! All I wanted to do is share this newfound experience with the people I love. Combining a blissful meditative state of mind with a deep yet controllable emotional journey, collated with an unexpected and enchanting physical response—all from breathing! A fascinating experience that left me overcome with gratitude."

    —Matt F

  • "Coming from someone who did not think they would feel anything from breathwork, I was blown away by the progress they were able to help me make. I can't recommend their classes enough."

    —Allie M

  • "Though I was initially skeptical, I have found that after each session, I feel rejuvenated, grounded, and more in touch with my emotions."

    —Sara L

  • "I felt little anxiety in the days after doing a breathwork class. No Sunday scaries (on the eve of returning from Mat leave!!). Mood was rosier. Able to cope with stress in a much more grounded way. Had a lot of moments of gratitude"
